Shoal and Death-Adder Defeat Luminary

Shoal and Death-Adder recently teamed up to lay waste to one of Paragon City's top heroes, the android known as Luminary. The current Luminary is an android built by Positron to replace the original Luminary who retired in 1995. Far from being a cold machine, Luminary has developed a strong personality under the watchful gaze of the android Citadel of the Freedom Phalanx. Armed with powerful energy blasts, Luminary has become a shining example of heroism and progress for Paragon City.

The original Luminary is Kit Rafter. He retired from the Freedom Phalanx in 1995 to become the spokesperson for Hero Corps. At his wedding, Positron presented Kit and his new wife Jeanette with the ultimate wedding present: a new android modeled after Jeanette with powers similar to Kit's. This next-generation heroine was the new Luminary, carrying on Kit's fine tradition under the watchful eye of Citadel. Her systems were all more advanced than Citadel's, making her the state of the art in android technology.

The new Luminary has recently shown signs of developing a strong personality. It has caused Positron some concern that it seems similar to Jeanette's. He has performed many tests on her but has not determined the cause. Since she was so easily defeated by the Horsemen, Positron should spend more time working on her abilities and less time worrying about her personality.

Medical Bay Now Open - Mz. Ivy Happy

The Four Horsemen officially opened their medical facility today at thier base of operations in the Rouge Isles. The state of the art facility has a medical reclimator which allows for members of the Horsemen to be instantly transported to the med bay when they are rendered unconsious. Death-Adder said "If Mz. Ivy put a nickle in everytime she uses it, I'm not sure how much money we would have but it'll be a shit load of nickles." Hopefully that will help pay for all the equipment.

Mz. Ivy and Death-Adder Rise Through the Ranks

The two villainous members of the notorious Four Horsemen were both seen entering the inner sanctum of Lord Recluse himself. Once inside the two each pledged themselves to one of Recluse's top lieutenants.

Mz. Ivy aligned herself with Scirocco. Formally known as Imad Malak, Scirocco was not always a villain. Once he was a freedom fighter, battling against tyranny in the Middle East. While in the Baka Valley fleeing mercenary death squads he discovered an ancient tomb and stumbled inside. The tomb was that of a long-dead desert hero, and within Malak found the heroes scimitar, an ancient weapon that granted the wielder incredible powers. Malak took the sword and donned the mantle of Scirocco, the Desert Wind. He intended to use his power to free his people but in taking the items he fell under a curse. Everything he did was tainted, bringing greater evil to the world. Once a hero of the people he had become a dark stain on their proud heritage and was cast out. Scirocco continued fighting, earning a grim reputation both for his phenomenal powers and for retaining some of Imad's old principals. He soon came to the attention of Arachnos and accepted the invitation to join Lord Recluse's inner circle.

Meanwhile, Death-Adder has aligned with Ghost Widow who appears to be an actual spirit from beyond the grave rather than a super being with some sort of incorporeal power. Some have said she was once a rising star in the Night Widows when she was slain. Her thirst for vengeance must have been great, for she returned from the void and now serves at Recluse's side. There are rumors that her service isn't entirely voluntary however.
